Professional Background |
I have had many years’ experiences working with young people from babies to 16 year old, in a variety of settings. My roles have included being a Nursery Nurse, teaching assistant (both at Primary and Secondary), Pupil support manager (delivering a variety of intervention sessions to learners) and my most recent role was Numeracy Intervention Tutor with a local Secondary School. Throughout all of these roles I have gained a lot of experience and have worked with a great number of students with varying degrees of SEND. |

Why I Became a Governor |
As my Son attends Lostock High School, I wanted to contribute positively to the school community and help shape and support the education our children receive. I'm passionate about ensuring all young people have access to excellent educational opportunities, my passion particularly lies within the SEND field. |

What I Hope to Contribute |
| My previous employment experiences allow me to support the board, looking at all aspects of my Governance role, from a parental perspective. I am particularly interested in ensuring the the SEND offer for all students is consistent and the best it can be. |
