Library
Lostock High School is fortunate enough to have a dual use library. This is managed by the schools Librarian and Careers coordinator – Amanda Childs who is able assisted by local volunteers. The library is used by the school and the local community.
School students have exclusive use of the library every lunchtime, whilst teachers and other staff use the library for one to one sessions, group work and whole classes throughout the school day.
Working in conjunction with other Trafford Libraries allows students to request items which are not in stock at Lostock Library, but are available from another Trafford library free of charge.
The library is open for students from 8am, at breaktimes, lunchtimes and after school for reading, book recommendations and homework help..
Opening hours to the public are 2pm - 4pm Monday - Friday
